  • Alex Vieira

  • Ben Loss

Ben Loss has a deep passion for all types of hunting and saltwater fly fishing (which he believes is also hunting). No matter the adventure it never gets old in his eyes and rejuvenates the spirit. The act of hunting is a sacred part of the human experience in his view. The Hunt Quietly philosophy is a near carbon copy of his preexisting views thus he was compelled to join the movement, and hopes to persuade every hunter to adopt a similar mindset.

  • Atlas McKinley

Atlas McKinley resides in Missoula, Montana, where he is an avid deer and elk hunter who loves all things fishing. He has been contributing to Hunt Quietly since December 2022. Atlas has also taken an active role with Hunters For Access, where he created and now manages their website.

  • Chris Orndoff

Chris Orndoff went afield for the first time in 2019 at the tender age of 38. Before he even bought a license, he was introduced to the fantasy realms of hunting television and social media influencers, and couldn’t help but think that something was off. Discouraged by what he recognized as the modern day equivalent of market hunting, he was thrilled to find Hunt Quietly in early 2023, and has been helping the cause ever since. Chris is a poultry farmer in Virginia who loves chasing whitetails on public land.

  • Omar Markhieh

Omar Markhieh is a lifelong hunter and sportsman. He is also an advocate for public land hunting, access, and the future generations of hunters

  • Evan Curtin

Evan Curtin is a traditional hunter and trapper from Minnesota who joined the HQ team to promote and protect the future of hunting. Evan is a nonprofit executive and contributes to strategy, occasionally on podcasts, and with nonprofit organization for HQ related endeavors.

  • David Fontenot

David Fontenot comes from a multi-generational hunting family that lost its treasured pastime in the decade before his birth. Motivated by stories of self reliance and adventure told by his grandfather, and an innate obsession with the outdoors, he taught himself to hunt in his mid 20s. David believes that the hallmark of a good life lies in the quiet pursuit of one's passions.

  • Phil Lewer

Phil Lewer is a lifelong hunter who became involved with Hunt Quietly after growing concerns while serving as a board member for a hunting non-profit regarding entanglements between hunting non-profits, state and federal game agencies, and the hunting industry.

  • Matt F

Matt Feinauer was born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah. He has been working in the mental health field since 2018, specializing in addiction and PTSD for veterans and first responders. He has been with Hunt quietly since June of 2022. Matt is a passionate hunter and angler and was attracted to Hunt Quietly because he saw unhealthy behavior and poor representation by hunting media and influencers. “Hunt Quietly was one of the only voices looking to stand up and preserve high quality non pay hunting for people like me.”

  • Rich Essman

Rich was introduced to hunting in his late teens when a high school football buddy took him out chasing quail on CA public lands. He tries to spend as much time as possible with his wife, kids, and dogs in secluded and wild places.

Rich joined the HQ movement because he believes that motives behind actions matter and has serious concerns with the shifting away from the North American Model of conservation and the monetization of hunting.

  • Adam Miller

Adam is a lifetime resident of North Dakota and lifetime hunter and fisherman. He first started giving back to his passions as a hunter’s education instructor and joined Hunt Quietly to make certain his students and his own kids have somewhere to hunt. He owns a couple small businesses that fund his recreational pursuits.
